Molino Benizalte, a historic and romantic building, offers a unique and inspiring wedding venue, just outside Orgiva in the valley of La Alpujarra, southern Spain. This 15th century former olive mill provides a beautiful backdrop for tailor-made weddings. Our huge local resource of musical and catering skills enables our team to create something truly special and original to fulfil your dreams.
We have hosted many musical, theatrical and wedding events. Our facilities are modest but cater for up to 200 people. Our own bedroom accommodation is under construction but we can recommend local hotels and self catering accommodation such as Los Piedaos, which provide an ample variety of accommodation for guests. Los Piedaos also has a charminghoneymoon cottage.
Set in the Sierra Nevada foothills in southern Spain, the Molino Benizalte looks towards the mountains of the Sierra Lujar directly south, its walled garden providing a private and secluded oasis for your ceremony and/or reception. Our designers and decorators enhance the already beautiful setting with vibrant and atmospheric scenery and decor.
Sebastian Blakeley and Pamela Lassalle have creative and diverse backgrounds, having lived and worked in America, France, Italy, and the U.K. Their combined experience enables them to listen carefully to the clients’ needs and bring to reality their dreams and visions.

Sebastian and Pamela's abilities, coupled with the local resource of talented and experienced professionals, allows us to put together events for all cultures and for all themes. Local performers and musicians can bring to life many cultures.
Both civil and catholic marriages are valid under Spanish Law, and are recognized legally in Europe and the United States. The requirements for civil wedding ceremonies in Spain are dependent on local regulations and we will guide you through the legal process ensuring that you are aware of all documentation required and will submit the documents to the correct local authorities on your behalf.
We can help to organize any type of service you require but time is needed to organise this so we are limiting weddings to one a month. Therefore contact and bookings need to be established well in advance of planned dates.
