"Thank you so much to Shujata and David Dry. We arrived (in a party of 14) having taken all 4 casitas for rent, to find the most wonderful properties and fabulous setting. Their thoughtfulness and inviting touches to the holiday and casitas will never be forgotten. The houses have been thoughtfully designed and equipped to cater for couples or parties. The scenery is wonderful, and sharing their animals made our holiday exceptional. Max, Bonnie, Wicked Willy and Smoky made us relax and feel so much "at home"! Although visiting in October when rain was expected, we seemed to have been chosen as the "righteous". Sun tans to take back to dreary UK. We'll certainly be back! Thank you Shujata and David - you were delightful."

"The 360 degree views of the mountains from the roof terrace of Las Palomas were amazing and although the temperature was mid 30's throughout our stay it didn't feel too hot because of the mountain breezes plus the air-con inside helped as we had two small children with us. The place is welcoming yet very private, you barely see the people staying in the other cottages."

"Great hospitality, nice personal touches. Very friendly hosts who live near by. Great location, property was even better than expected, will be returning for sure. Can't really say more than that.... "

"I would definitely recommend Las Palomas to anyone wishing to enjoy a secluded rural location with stunning views and all mod cons. The website was professional, informative and accurate, as were the pre-visit details. A car is essential and the approach lane is long and narrow. The casita itself was ideal for two adult couples, with two en-suite bedrooms, a large, well equipped kitchen and both a roof terrace and a courtyard patio. Several sunbathing areas round the shared pool gave privacy to each group. We were welcomed by pots of geraniums, flowers on the table and a bottle of wine ready to open; magic.

We appreciated the information folder with advice on local walks, drives and places to eat. Much thought had gone into the comfort of guests; we didn't need to use the extra heating, the washing machine or the ironing board, but it was good to know that they were available. The owner lives close to the casita; in his absence, it was easy to contact his deputy, who visited us shortly after our arrival. We loved Bonnie and Max, the friendly dogs who adopted us and came on our walks. Overall, a delightful place which did "exactly what it says on the tin". "

"A lovely relaxing place to stay. The owners are very kind and have put a lot of thought into making the place as enjoyable as possible. Those little touches make all the difference."

"Los Piedaos was a beautiful place to stay, the accommodation was excellent, the views wonderful and the owners were very welcoming. I would recommend the area and accommodation as an excellent place to stay to get away from the rat race in England. You can see why so many Brits have moved out here permanently".

"Great location and an excellent property."

"La Concha is a peaceful respite to busy city life. Its idyllic setting on a hill overlooking olive groves makes it the perfect place to relax and while away the hours listening to the wildlife, reading and just generally chilling out. David and Shujata have clearly put a lot of care and attention into developing the property, and all their attention to detail makes any stay at Los Piedaos and the surrounding area so much more enjoyable. Their hints and tips ensured we got the most out of our stay, and gave us a valuable insight into the farm and local area. We will definitely be recommending this hidden gem to friends and families!"

"This villa proved to be everything it said it would be. Lots of space, very well equipped and lots of up to date local information. It is set in a lovely quiet rural area, but close enough to the coast or Granada to have day trips out, although a car is essential to get out and about. If you don't want to do that, fine - there is an extensive library, small shared pool, plenty of sun beds and you can just laze and listen to the birds, and the bees visiting the many flowering shrubs, until it is time to set the evening barbeque! Resident discreet owners make their mark with personal touches and a welcome pack."

Review submitted by David from England
"If you are looking for a holiday in a lovely location, with only the birds to disturb you, then this is for you. The accommodation was well designed and was as per the description on the web site. You cannot do other than chill out!"

Review submitted by Geoffrey from Manchester
"Cleverly designed to create three very private and charming casitas full of character. Our January visit coincided with freakish sub-zero daytime temperatures but we would like to return in Spring sometime or later, it must be magical."

Review submitted by Sue from Liverpool
"A wonderful villa which is situated in the valley near to Orgiva. The property is beautiful and the surrounding area is quiet and secluded. One has the choice of using the private pool at La Rama or the communal pool which has stunning views of the Alpujarras. The two local towns of Lanjaron and Orgiva are only minutes away. The owners are extremely helpful and hospitable. Highly recommended."

Review submitted by Paul from Southport Merseyside
"How much peace and quiet can you get at La Rama? Loads, day and night. This was the most relaxing holiday I have EVER had. The casita was close enough for amenities, but just far enough away not to see or hear them. An awesome area of stunning tranquillity and beauty!"
